Fall | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Hollywood Reporter An essentially straight-faced story about a co*cky New York cabbie (Schaeffer) who gets into a hot and heavy affair with a European supermodel. Mar 20, 2008 Full Review Fall | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Keith Phipps AV Club Fortunately, when America's love affair with Eric Schaeffer finally kicks in, there will be a fat back-catalog of little-seen Eric Schaeffer projects ready to be discovered. Jul 10, 2006 Full Review Fall | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Lawrence Van Gelder New York Times Fall leans too heavily in the direction of vain and smug. Rated: 1.5/5 May 20, 2003 Full Review Fall | Rotten Tomatoes (4) TV Guide A narcissistic, ego-driven gabfest courtesy of indie auteur Eric Schaeffer, who appears not to have figured out that therapy is cheaper than moviemaking. Rated: 1.5/4 Mar 20, 2008 Full Review Fall | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Emanuel Levy EmanuelLevy.Com Rated: 2/5 Jul 14, 2005 Full Review Fall | Rotten Tomatoes (6) David Nusair Reel Film Reviews Fall often feels like a remake of 9 1/2 Weeks, with Schaeffer seemingly competing with Mickey Rourke for most..disgusting sleazeball ever committed to celluloid. Maisy u Come for the kitschy-ness. Stay for the poetry. Live for the soundtrack. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/24/23 Full Review Audience Member An addicting film that takes you back to when love was new, vulnerable, young, free...the what-ifs, the missed phone call, zemblanity. It asks you if you are really happy or do you wait for the next minute, hour or lifetime. Do you settle or do confront the what-ifs, taking that chance for deep, wonderful love. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member What?! This is like one of my favorite movies of all time! I love Eric Schaeffer! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review thomas l Tedious. Amanda De Cadenet does a capable job as a bored high-fashion model who has an affair with a cabbie/successsful writer, played by Eric Shaeffer who also wrote and directed this tarnished little gem. She lives for the glamorous life and he rejected it, even as she rejected him for the life she needs, even more than him. And she warned him at the start. He might have made a better movie if he had casted someone more appropriate in the starring role, other then himself and his penis. The charisma between the two leads is nonexistent, and his narration put my teeth on edge. Another director would have shown more of her skin and less of his. The references to hom*osexuality only reminded me, that this little film might have been better if she had gone out of town and Phillipe had stuck around for two months of chinese takeout on the living room floor. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie felt very shallow, not only that but the dialogue would've been better if Steven hawking read it. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member sadly i know all 3 types of douchebags in this movie with scary accuracy in look, speech, and attitude= and i hate all 3 of them in this movie as well.
